A "Field Report" from a pilot runner documenting how the hydrophobic zero-wet-gain performance and aerodynamics during a windy marathon helped achieve a sub-3 PB.
The wind at mile 18 was brutal. Traditional singlets would have been flapping, soaked in sweat, and adding drag. But with the 0.5 lock, the Aero-V stability kept my collar rigid. No flapping, no distraction. Combined with the zero-wet-gain hydrophobic fiber, I felt as light at the finish line as I did at the start. Sub-3 is finally on the board.
Hydrophobic Dominance. Traditional PET absorbs up to 0.4% weight in moisture. HMF-PEF? Zero. Every gram counts at 42.195km.
